I'm almost finished packing. Of course, I had hoped to finish yesterday, but last minute items always pop into my mind. My extreme cold weather clothes are ready, so now I just need to finalize what I will be taking for the New Zealand portion of my trip. Dan is going to meet me after I return from Antarctica, and we will spend two weeks enjoying the summer in the Southern Hemisphere before heading back to winter in Colorado.

 

I think the dogs know I am leaving, certainly Teva does. He paced around all last night. At least they had a little fun on Halloween. Teva has been through this before. As he gets older, it seems to affect him more and more. He usually settles in a few days after I leave and forgets all about it.

I'm sure Lacy will have no problem.
